CoESS Facts & Figures

 

CoESS’ study on ‘Private Security in Europe – CoESS Facts & Figures’ provides a comprehensive overview of the European private security services industry. 

 

The study covers a wide geographical area targeting a total of 34 countries, i.e. the 27 EU Member States as well as 7 other European countries: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland and Turkey. It allows for an updated and accurate outline of the private security services sector focusing on the legal, social and economic realities within these 34 countries and looks to identify similarities and differences between them. 

 

The CoESS Facts & Figures study is the only available analysis at European level offering representative and research-based statistical and factual information about the European private security services industry today.

European monitoring statistics from Monitoring and Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs)

 

Every few years, CoESS launches a wide-scale survey among its member federations in order to gather general statistical information from Monitoring and Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) throughout Europe and beyond. 

 

The survey explores key indicators, which in turn help to understand the scale of European monitoring in a fast-moving and dynamic European private security landscape.
